Experience Required: None / General Interest *
Cost: £150 (£135 for full time students)

COURSE DETAILS:
An informative and interesting course introducing students to all aspects of interior design including:
- The role of an interior designer
- Site surveying and analysis
- Basic draftsmanship
- Developing concepts & generating ideas
- Colour, materials, lighting, & finishes
- Design development, decisions & details
- Communicating & presenting design schemes
- Specifying & costing
- Overview of professional practice
 
* No experience required but some understanding of interior design, the ability to read simple drawings
and a keen interest in the whole creative process would be beneficial.
More advanced design students may wish to undertake this as a complementary course to their main studies,
 as a 'refresher' or to gain further experience and build their portfolio. A 10% discount is available for full time students.
